How to Push Workouts to Your Suunto Device
If you have a SuuntoPlus™ Guides capable device, completing your Reddiyo workouts is more convenient than ever. We will automatically send your scheduled workouts to your Suunto account. The Suunto app will send the workouts directly to your device when you sync.
Performing workouts on your device means you don’t have to track anything. Just jump on the bike and ride. Your device will tell you exactly what zone you should be in and when to switch for each interval.
How It Works
Reddiyo will automatically send your upcoming workout to your Suunto account. It will typically show up about a day before your workout is scheduled to be completed. It is possible to manually “export” your workout to Suunto, but you shouldn’t need to do that unless you are doing your workout well before the planned time.
Syncing your workout recipe to your watch is very simple. All you need to do is open the Suunto app and let it sync with your device.
If you have never connected your phone to your watch, then follow these instructions. Once setup, it should automatically connect every time you open the Suunto app.
To confirm that the workouts are available, you can click the watch icon in the app (top left) and then click “SuuntoPlus™ Guides.” From there you will see all available workouts from Reddiyo.
Once you have synced the Suunto app with your watch, you can begin your ride. Select cycling for your activity on your watch. It should recognize that you have a workout scheduled for that day and ask you whether you want to perform that workout. Just select “Yes” from the watch and start your workout.
At this point, the watch will walk you through each step of the workout and vibrate every time that a change in zone is needed. Upon completion of the workout, you will need to save the ride normally and it will automatically sync back over to Reddiyo.
